You can keep your bathroom pristine all year long by using these Perth tile and mould cleaning tips. If you follow these steps, you won’t have to worry about mould growing on your tiles ever again.

Perth tile and mould cleaning tips

If you’re having trouble getting rid of mould on your bathroom tiles, try one of these three cleaning methods:

1. Cleaning with Borax

A white mineral powder called borax may be used to effectively remove mould from the bathroom. In a gallon of warm water, dissolve 1 cup of borax. A spray bottle will need part of the solution, so fill it up.

If you want to clean a surface, just spray it. To get rid of mould spots, use a clean cloth, sponge, or scrub brush. Tile or viny flooring will benefit from mopping with the leftover borax mould cleaner.

2. Perth tile and mould cleaning tips: using bleach

Another effective alternative for getting rid of mould spots in the bathroom is bleach. However, you should only use it in a well-ventilated space. When dealing with bleach, it’s important to get rid of the odour by opening a window or turning on the exhaust fan in the bathroom.

You may clean nonporous surfaces like your sinks, tubs, toilets, and showers with a bleach and water solution that’s 1:10. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t use it on your ceiling or walls because of the risk of bleach damage.

3. Distilled white vinegar for shining tiles

When it comes to getting rid of mould in the bathroom, distilled white vinegar is an effective method. You can use it straight in the showerhead, drain, or toilet, or dilute it and use it to clean tile floors. Vinegar is an excellent technique to get rid of mould. And although the smell of pure white vinegar may not be appealing, it is a terrific cleaning product.

Apply vinegar by spraying it on the spot, and wait 5–10 minutes. As the next step, clean it off with a sponge or towel. Remove stubborn mould with a bristle brush. If DIY cleaning methods don’t seem to improve the appearance of your bathroom, contact professional cleaners.
